Carpe Diem.

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived" -Thoreau

Notice only 20 shades of gray

It’s been proven that women actually have an acute ability to pick up subtle differences in colors

In response to that last comment^^

Yes. It comes from the Hunter-Gatherer days.

Women were the gatherers. They had to be able to discern between the different shades of colors to know which plants were poisonous and which were not.

Men were out hunting, so they didn’t have to worry about that.

Which is why women see “Blood orange” and “crimson” and “scarlet” etc while guys just see “red”.

Well, that explains…

The moments that brought tears to many eyes.

FCO 50

This show honestly brought a tear to my eye because this is what drum corps is for a lot of people. Home. In the off season when I’m sad or depressed I think about my time over tour and suddenly everything’s better because corps is where I belong. So hearing Blue Stars do Home by Phillip Phillips and then sing it gave me so many chills because it epitomizes my feelings about drum corps.

That comment😩

This is the type of stage pageantry that people pay hundreds to see. Imagine how long the costume designer took intricately put into making those dresses the people behind the scene are the true heroes of theater

The one on the right is a true work of art
